Women's Cross Country Third at Daemen Duals

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – The D’Youville women’s cross country team finished third at the Daemen Duals on Saturday at Bassett Park.

Daemen won the meet with a team score of 16. Wildcats finished first through fourth and sixth. Kassandra Nolet won the 5k race in a time of 18:46.2.

Like last weekend on Grand Island, Hannah Kennedy was the top finisher for the Saints in 11th place with a time of 22:04.4. Megan Deer also finished in the top 15 in 14th (22:39.8).

Riley Burns was the next to finish for the Saints. The freshman was 17th in a time of 24:11.6. Kaitlyn Furtado (20th, 27:28.9) and Madeline Fleming (21st, 27:28.9) rounded out the scorers for the Saints.

D’Youville has a week off before returning to action at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational in Rochester, N.Y. on September 25.
