ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. - The D’Youville women’s volleyball team opened East Coast Conference play, falling on the road, 3-0, to Molloy Saturday afternoon. The setback saw the Saints fall to 1-8 overall on the season and 0-1 in conference play.

D’Youville dropped the first two sets by identical 25-16 score lines before being edged out in the third and final set, 25-22. A service ace from freshman Olivia Jasosz deadlocked the third set at 22. Her ace completed a 4-0 run for the Saints but three straight Lion points closed out the match in straight sets.

Jarosz led the Saints in kills with six, followed up by four kills each from freshman Eve Musielak, junior Carly Milleville, and freshman Nathalya Rocha. Freshman Samantha Killane paced the Saints with 17 digs while Emma Wlostowski recorded 18 assists and added seven digs.
