BUFFALO, N.Y. – Four different goal scorers powered the D'Youville women's soccer to a 4-0 win at Medaille on Tuesday night. The win moves the Saints' record to 2-3 on the year. Seven different Saints tallied a point on the night.

Freshman Jillian Bernas gave the Saints a 1-0 lead with 24 seconds left in the opening half. Bernas slotted home a feed from Kavina Ganeshan. The goal was the second of the year for Bernas.

The Saints fired 16 shots—eight on goal—in the opening 45 minutes. Defensively, D'Youville limited Medaille to three shots on goal in the first half.

Five minutes into the second half, Lauren Zwolenkiewicz doubled the Saints' lead. Noelle Coyle assisted on Zwolenkiewicz's second of the season. Coyle played in a corner kick, and Zwoloenkiewicz got on the end of it and scored.

The final two goals for D'Youville came in a span of eight minutes. Maggie Leeds scored for the second straight game. Leeds made it 3-0 on the first of two assists from Jordan Pachla. Leeds' tally also came off a corner kick. Pachla then assisted Abby Nowak's first goal as a Saint in the 68th minute, which followed a D'Youville free kick.

The Saints held a 37-8 advantage in shots and a 17-5 edge in shots on goal for the game.

Leeds' goal was her team-leading third of the season. The midfielder also paces the Saints with seven points.

Laurie Poeller made four stops in her 68 minutes of work. Cierra Barber played the remaining 28 minutes and made one save in her debut.

Pachla's pair of assists give her the team lead.

Both of D'Youville's wins this season have come via shutouts. The Saints shut out Malone on September 11, 1-0.
