
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A total of 11 D'Youville University softball student-athletes were honored as 2022 All-American Scholar-Athletes, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced Monday. The team was also recognized for its 3.56 grade-point-average, the 35th-highest among NCAA Division II programs.
"It's very exciting to see our student-athletes earn this honor," said head coach Megan Asham. "Not only does it show our softball programs' commitment to excellence on the field, but in the classroom as well. I am extremely proud of these student-athletes and their commitment to the Division II life-in-balance model."
Over 7.527 student-athletes were recognized as NFCA All-American Scholar-Athletes this year.
