Men's Cross Country Third at Daemen Duals

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – The D’Youville men’s cross country team finished third at the Daemen Duals on Saturday at Bassett Park.

Houghton College won the meet with a team score of 22. The Highlanders had runners finish second, third, fourth, fifth, and eighth in the 8k race. Jonathan Moote of Daemen won the 8k race with a time of 28:22.4.

For the second straight meet, Henry Smith was the top finisher for the Saints. The freshman stopped the clock in 30:09.1, which was 11th. David Oswald finished in 20th with a time of 34:05.4. Dalton Holthouse was the third-fastest Saint and finished in 24th (36:24.8).

Tylor Muscarella and Dominick Harris were the final two scoring finishers for the Saints in 28th and 29th respectively.

D’Youville has a week off before returning to action at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational in Rochester, N.Y. on September 25.
