The D’Youville baseball team will look to get back on track this weekend as it begins its East Coast Conference slate with a three-game set against Lincoln University in Chester County, Pa.

Last Time Out – The Saints dropped a pair of non-conference matchups on the road to Mercyhurst last weekend. With the losses, D’Youville wrapped up their non-conference portion of the schedule with a 2-4 mark.

Start of the ECC Grind - This weekend will be the first of seven-straight conference series for the Saints, as the team is set to stay in-league for the rest of the regular season. D'Youville is slated to host its first ECC series at home next weekend against Mercy, the first of three home series this season.

D’Youville By the Numbers – Three Saints are batting above .300 through six games this season, paced by sophomore catcher Jeremy Glinski (.500 AVG), followed up by freshman infielder/pitcher Alex Dzimian (.400 AVG), and sophomore catcher Mateo Santos (.353 AVG). Santos also holds a team-high of five runs batted in while Galinski paces the Saints with five stolen bases. On the mound, senior left-hander Adam Lampman has a team-best 4.86 ERA along with 15 strikeouts, while sophomore righty Kyle Nash holds 1-0 record with one save.

Lincoln at a Glance - The Lions have struggled out of the gates so far this season, dropping their first six games. Lincoln’s closest taste to victory came on March 6 in a 3-2 defeat that needed extra innings at Virginia State. Of those with at least 20 at-bats, Elias Beltre (.381 AVG) and Kashif Hill (.304) lead the Lions in batting while Sheldon Johnson leads Lincoln with six runs batted in.
