The D'Youville baseball team will hit the road for the final time in the regular season as it travels down-state to take on the College of Staten Island in a three-game series beginning Friday, April 30

Last Time Out – The Saints fell on the road to Molloy on Sunday, April 25, 14-1, after dropping a three-game series at Bridgeport earlier in the weekend.

Tale of the Tape – The Saints and Dolphins met previously in 2004 and 2005, with CSI sweeping a doubleheader in both seasons to own a 4-0 all-time record over D'Youville. This weekend's series is the only time the squads will face each other as D'Youville wraps up play next weekend with a home series against St. Thomas Aquinas College.

D'Youville by the Numbers – Sophomore catcher Jeremy Glinski continues to lead the Saints at the plate with a .300 batting average through 21 games ... Freshman infielder/pitcher Alex Dzimian (.242 AVG) follows him up and sophomore catcher Mateo Santos' .203 batting average is good for third best on the team ... Dzimian holds a team-high nine runs batted in and has the squad's only home run this season ... Glinski continues to lead the ECC in stolen bases with 16, five more than Queens' Colin Diez's second-best 11 stolen bases ... Senior left-hander Adam Lampman sits fourth in the conference with 39 strikeouts over 46.1 innings.

CSI at a Glance – The Dolphins will enter this weekend's doubleheader, looking to snap a four-game losing skid, with all four of those defeats at the hands of Mercy. CSI's last two wins came on April 17 in a doubleheader sweep over Lincoln, 11-7 and 6-2. The pair of conference wins helped earn the series win over the Lions, as Lincoln took game one the previous night and snapped a five-game losing streak. Thomas Marten leads the Dolphins' offensive attack with a .347 average at the plate and is followed up by Shendi Ulaj (.320 AVG) and Angel Santiago (.310 AVG). Joyce Thomas' 14 RBI are a team-best while Louie Mandile has circled the bases three times for the Dolphins this year.
