The D'Youville baseball team will embark on another road swing that will begin with a three-game series this weekend at Bridgeport and follow with a trip to Molloy to wrap up that East Coast Conference series, which began earlier this week.

Last Time Out – The Saints returned to Northtown Center on Tuesday for the first time since the end of the 2019 season, dropping a pair of East Coast Conference matchups to Molloy that saw the Lions plate 35 runs on 36 hits over the two games.

Tale of the Tape – Bridgeport and D'Youville will meet for the first time since the Saints joined the ECC. This weekend's series will be the only time the teams meet this season.

D'Youville by the Numbers – Sophomore catcher Jeremy Glinski leads the Saints at the plate this season with a .340 batting average, followed by freshman infielder/pitcher Alex Dzimian (.260 AVG), and senior outfielder/infielder Renato Quinones (.211 AVG) ... Glinski's 12 stolen bases are a team and conference-best mark this season ... Dzimian and sophomore catcher Mateo Santos pace the Saints in runs batted in with nine and six, respectively ... Senior pitcher Adam Lampman leads D'Youville on the mound, fanning 32 batters this spring for the third-most strikeouts in the ECC.

Bridgeport at a Glance – An up-and-down start to the 2021 campaign has the Purple Knights sitting at .500. All of Bridgeport's success this year has come from playing at home with a 6-1 mark, but they haven't been able to apply that winning formula in enemy territory, sitting at 0-5 on the road. Last weekend, St. Thomas Aquinas took two out of three from Bridgeport with the Purple Knights taking game two's high-scoing affair, 10-7. Andre Marchesseault paces the Purple Knight attack with a .378 batting average while driving in a team-high 14 runs, followed by Ryan Donnelly (.351 AVG), and Craig Leonard (.326 AVG).

Molloy at a Glance – Following the Tuesday's doubleheader sweep, Sunday's matchup will wrap up three-game series between the teams. In the meantime, the Lions will take on St. Thomas Aquinas in a three-game set on Friday and Saturday before playing the Saints on Sunday.
