Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at D'Youville


The Park Advocacy Center - is open 24/7 and is a great place for students to hang out with their friends, students, and discover the innovative advocacy services that are available. 

Mr. & Mrs. Collection - D’Youville has partnered with the Mr. & Ms. Collection to provide the campus community with styled items for both casual and professional everyday experiences. All campus community members get 40% off any tier and PELL-eligible students receive 3 months free.

African Heritage Food Co-Op - D’Youville has partnered with African Heritage Food Co-Op to provide FreshPacks for the campus community. Each week, members of the campus are able to reserve packs of fresh fruits, vegetables, and healthy carbs for pick up in The Park. FreshPacks are $10. If a student is unable to pay, the Office of Student Development & Advocacy will cover the charge.

The Pride Center & Mocha - D’Youville has partnered with the PRIDE Center & MOCHA to offer the campus community free & confidential HIV & STI testing once a month.

Cultural Enrichment Center (CEC) - is the home base for marginalized students. This space is always evolving with the needs of our students and golds a myriad of programs and events throughout the academic year. 

Peers Uplifting Peers Mentorship Program - Peers Uplifting Peers (PUPs) is to provide support for students of marginalized identities and create a network that aids in connecting students with peers, alumni, and the greater D'Youville community.

Diversity Peer Educator - Diversity Peer Educators, also known as DPE, are trained student facilitators dedicated to promoting greater cultural awareness, competency, and understanding.

Black Lives Lead Scholarship - The Black Lives Lead Scholarship was created in response to recent national events in recognition of, and as a challenge to our nation's long history of institutionalized racism. This scholarship will provide a 100% discount on room and board in 222 Apartments that can be renewable for up to four years. Scholarship renewals will be determined by the Director of Student Development and Advocacy.  In your essay, describe your specific involvement in the Black community and how it has helped someone else. This can be a mentorship role, the creation of resources for your community, or any other activism that directly benefits the Black community anywhere in the world. Feel free to include how this scholarship will help you to continue your work.

Multi-Cultural Organizations - PRIDE, Black Student Association, LatinX Student Association

CARE Team - Made up of support staff around campus. Supports students on 'more than academic issues'.
